Are you in trouble? Cannot restore using iTunes? Cannot create playlists because your hard drive has been wiped out? Songs on your iTunes are no longer in the computer? Some people when the computer has been reformatted, we forget to back up our files like pictures, music, movies and videos. iTunes when reinstalled is no longer is sync with the files that are already in your iPod. And when you want to add some more files like music or songs or playlist we cannot just create and let the automatic message when you connect your ipod to the computer then prompts you if you want to sync the files with the computer which has been reformatted so there are no files. There is a way that you can just add files in your iPod without synchronizing it to itunes which is already empty upon wiping out or reformatting the computer.
You can already rename the untitled playlist to whatever playlist you want like name it as Aerosmith then add all Aerosmith songs to it. You can drag songs to the new renamed playlist to easily add songs. So you no longer have to say you cannot restore using iTunes…Now you can…If you have comments or you like this article and it helps you and may help others, please share. Thanks and see you next…
If iTunes opens, automatically as soon as you plug-in your ipod meaning to say, the checkbox of "open itunes when this ipod is connected" is checked. just make sure you also put a check on "manually manage music and videos" and 'enable disk use" which is shown below so it will be possible for you to manually create a new playlist without asking or needing to be sync with the iTunes which is already empty.

You have to right click the name of the iPod (with mine I have it named as I_luv_DJ’s iPod) on the left panel then click new playlist as shown on the next picture and then it will show untitled in blue highlighted text .
